Peach BBQ Meatballs

Makes about 25

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

  • 1/4 cup whole milk

  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tsp sea salt

Preheat oven to 400°. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and shape into 1-inch balls. Place in an ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake uncovered about 15–20 minutes, turning once.

Bourbon Peach BBQ Sauce

  • 2 cups peach preserves

  • 1 cup tomato sauce

  • 1/4 cup bourbon

  • 2–3 tsp Haidek's All-Purpose Rub & Seasoning

Combine all of the ingredients in a large saucepan and simmer on low for 20 minutes. Add meatballs, gently stirring to coat them with the sauce, then simmer an additional 5 minutes.
